Mounties are searching for a gunman following a drive-by shooting that put one man in hospital early Friday morning.
Officers flooded the area of 144th Street and 92nd Avenue after receiving a report of gunshots around 2 a.m.
The victim had already left by the time they arrived, however, and somehow made his own way to Surrey Memorial Hospital suffering from a gunshot wound.
The extent of his injury is unconfirmed but he’s expected to survive.
Police believe the shooting was a drive-by, but haven’t released a suspect vehicle description.
They said the motive is unclear and it’s too early to tell if the incident was targeted.
