Man and woman arrested following assault in Maple Ridge
Mounties are investigating the alleged assault of a man that occurred in Maple Ridge Wednesday morning.
Officers were called to reports of an assault in the 22400 block of 121 Street around 11:15 a.m., Ridge Meadows RCMP said in a release issued Thursday.
A man was sent to hospital with visible, but non-life-threatening injuries, and has since been released, police said.
A man and a woman, already known to police, were located and arrested shortly after.
“This is an active and ongoing investigation, no further information is available at this time,” police said.
Anyone who believes they may have witnessed the incident Wednesday are asked to contact the Ridge Meadows RCMP at 604-463-6251 and refer to file 2024-25066.
