Man and woman arrested following assault in Maple Ridge
Mounties are investigating the alleged assault of a man that occurred in Maple Ridge Wednesday morning.
Officers were called to reports of an assault in the 22400 block of 121 Street around 11:15 a.m., Ridge Meadows RCMP said in a release issued Thursday.
A man was sent to hospital with visible, but non-life-threatening injuries, and has since been released, police said.
A man and a woman, already known to police, were located and arrested shortly after.
“This is an active and ongoing investigation, no further information is available at this time,” police said.
