Investigators with Peel Regional Police have found "signs of concern" in a Mississauga home while investigating the disappearance of two North York men, a police spokesman says.

However, Peel Police Const. Thomas Ruttan wouldn't reveal the discovery that has detectives concerned in their search for Jiangou (Tony) Han, 44, and Jun (Johnny) Fei, 40.

Officers launched the missing persons investigation after they were called to a home on Featherstone Drive in Mississauga on Thursday at noon.

Police and family members are concerned for the safety of both men because it is "highly unusual" for them to go missing, a news release stated.

The men may be in a black, four-door Mercedes-Benz E350 sedan with Ontario licence plate BHWC 968, police said.

Ruttan was unaware of the nature of the relationship between the men.

Anyone with information about the men's whereabouts is asked to call Peel Regional Police at 905-453-2121 ext. 1133 or 905-453-3311, the nearest police department, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
