Got a teen or adult gamer on your Christmas list? Here are some of top games of the season rated "T" or "M".

I recently played Spider-Man Web of Shadows with video game expert Victor Lucas, the executive producer of the show The Electric Playground. It is one of his top picks for teens.

"Great comic book story," he said.

Mortal Kombat vs. The DC Universe tones down the ultra violent Mortal Kombat series a little but it is not for kids -- despite showing favorite cartoon characters.

Guitar Hero World Tour continues the rock music sensation -- but Rock Band 2 is Victor's top pick for a music based game.

"More songs, more stuff to do it plays better there are better instruments both great for kids," he explained.

If you measure success by profit and loss, World of Warcraft: Wrath of The Lich King is the runaway winner.

"It made about $150 million in about one day and those players will continue to go on to pay $15 a month," said Victor.

A year wouldn't be complete without another Star Wars video game -- this year it is The Force Unleashed,

"They did a great job of energizing the star wars mythology," noted Victor.

Soul Caliber IV is our video expert's favorite fighting game of the year.

"They've also added Yoda, and Darth Vader and Star Killer from the force unleashed game," he said.

"It's a bit weird but it's fun," he noted.

Among mature rated games it was the year of the sequel with games like Call of Duty: World at War, and Gears of War 2.

"This is an absolute epic of a franchise," said Victor. "They are actually turning it into a movie series as we speak, and a comic book series."

Fallout 3 is open -- limitless-- and leaves you feeling vulnerable

"You really feel fragile at any moment some super mutant is going to jump out and take care of you," he warned.

Victor's surprise of the year is actually games for two devices aimed at a mature audience: the iPhone and iTouch -- there are already more than a thousand games

"I think I'm becoming guilty of becoming an evangelist for the platform now because I can't stop talking about it," he beamed.

Some games are still being published for the Play Station 2 so if you have one of the older systems - you can still get some new games for the holidays.
