VANCOUVER -- Several blocks in Vancouver's Yaletown neighbourhood were closed off Sunday after an early morning stabbing that sent four men to hospital.

Police have taken seven people into custody, and said one man has serious injuries.

Vancouver police responded to a call of a large group of men fighting at Helmcken and Hamilton streets at around 2:30 a.m. When police arrived, they found four men who were suffering from stab wounds.

At the scene Sunday morning, police had several blocks marked off with police tape as they investigated the incident.

A white Ace of Spades limousine could be seen with one door open.

Police also had one lane at Richards and Davie streets blocked off, where there was a black SUV with the driver's and passenger's side doors open and some clothes scattered on the ground.

Police said both Mainland Street and Hamilton Street between Nelson and Davie would be closed all day. They were reopened before 5 p.m.

CTV News attempted to contact Ace of Spades Limousines, but did not receive an immediate response.

Emery Barnes Park at Richards and Davie was also partially blocked off.
