A 59-year-old man has died after being hit by a vehicle in Richmond Wednesday night.
Police said the man was hit at around 6 p.m. in the 2800-block of No. 3 Road.
When police arrived at the scene they found the man lying on the road. Investigators said it appears the man was jaywalking when he was hit by a vehicle travelling south.
The man sustained injuries and was taken to Vancouver General Hospital where he later died.
Investigators believe the collision occurred at a low speed and said alcohol and drugs were not a factor.
