Police say the death of two men inside a home in Southeast Vancouver is no longer being treated as suspicious.

VPD officers responded to a home on Argyle Street near East 53rd Avenue around 4 p.m. Tuesday after reports of two deceased people inside.

The deaths were confirmed by the coroner.

Hazmat crews were visible at the scene but the exact circumstances are still unclear. The Coroners Service has provided few details, saying only that it is investigating and that carbon monoxide did not play a role in the deaths.

Police said the deaths have been determined to not be suspicious.
