A pair of conjoined twins from Vernon have been featured on a high-profile American TV show.

Tatiana and Krista Hogan, and their parents were guests on Anderson Cooper's new daytime talk show.

Their mother, Felicia Simms, told Cooper that some parents in her community have reacted negatively and even prevented their children from playing with the twins, but she says most children don't have any problems.

Doctors have said the girls share a critical part of the brain, which means surgery to separate them wouldn't be safe.

'Anderson' appears on CTV Monday to Friday at 3 p.m. ET/PT.
