A Penticton strip club is among two local groups raising money today for a woman who was sexually assaulted for hours in front of her toddler son.
Slack Alice's Gentleman's Club will be raising money between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Saturday, right after a march to raise funds by a local women's group.
David Wesley Bobbitt was arrested Wednesday and charged with attempted murder in the brutal beating and police say further charges are pending, including aggravated sexual assault.
Police have asked for the public's help in piecing together a timeline of Bobbitt's movements from his second-hand store in Penticton where the assault allegedly happened to the highway in Oliver where he was arrested.
