A decision in a lawsuit over the ownership of the Vancouver Canucks is being appealed.
Vancouver businessmen Tom Gaglardi and Ryan Beedie claimed Francesco Aquilini broke their partnership and negotiated behind their backs to buy the franchise in 2004.
But B-C Supreme Court Justice Catherine Wedge dismissed their claim last month, saying the relationship among the three men wasn't a partnership, and even if it was, it ended when Aquilini left the group nine months before he bought the team.
Lawyers for Gaglardi and Beedie issued a news release today saying they have filed an appeal, but declined further comment.
