Megan Devlin

Web Journalist, CTV Vancouver

Megan is an award-winning multimedia journalist who first joined CTV Vancouver's web team in 2017.

Her reporting experience is varied and global. She's covered Britain's historic referendum to exit the European Union, written about Indigenous language revitalization in Vancouver and broken stories about health care in Canada's prison system. Her work has won a prestigious EU fellowship, two RTDNAs and several Canadian Online Publishing Awards.

She has a background in science and enjoys reporting health stories, especially on preventative care, mental health, communicable diseases and innovation.

She has a Master of Journalism from the University of British Columbia, where she was a fellow in the 2017 International Reporting Program. She travelled to Bangalore, India to produce a multimedia story on farmers battling the city’s concrete expansion that was published on BBC World.

She also has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Western Ontario, where she was a news editor at The Western Gazette.
