ContactBen Nesbit is a multi-skilled journalist who joined the CTV News Vancouver team in June 2021.
Born and raised in North Vancouver, Ben is thrilled to have the opportunity to cover the most pressing stories across the Lower Mainland.
After graduating from the College of Sports Media in Toronto in 2018, Ben headed up to Northern Ontario to begin his career at Thunder Bay Television, where he would serve as the weekend sports anchor but also report on news.
Some early career highlights included meeting and interviewing Hockey Night in Canada host Ron MacLean and covering the OIPRD report on systemic racism in the Thunder Bay Police Department.
In late 2019, Ben headed back west to work at CHEK TV in Victoria, where he would cover a wide variety of political affairs and other stories across Vancouver Island.
When he’s not working, you can find Ben on the golf course, yelling at his TV while watching sports or enjoying a couple beverages with friends.
