Vancouver police say now 70 people have stepped forward to say they were involved in last June's Stanley Cup riot.
Insp. Les Yeo of the Integrated Riot Investigation Team says they're seeing more and more people make the decision to turn themselves into police.
Every Wednesday, police add more pictures to a website aimed at identifying rioters, hoping others will identify those who assaulted police, smashed windows and burned cars on the night the Vancouver Canucks lost Game 7 of the Stanley Cup final.
Police say they've received more than 400 tips through the website in the few weeks it has been in operation.
Separate reports into the riot have concluded police were overwhelmed by a crowd of more than 150,000 people who poured into the downtown core to celebrate the final game, many watching on giant outdoor TV screens.
An internal police report said many people in the crowd were drunk and it recommended organizers of other planned events find a way to keep the "hooligan" demographic out of the downtown area.
