Traffic was rerouted as emergency crews attended a pedestrian-involved collision on Scott Roadand 84th Avenue in Surrey, B.C. Friday morning.
This latest collision happened just hours after officials warned drivers and pedestrians to be vigilant on the road.
Last night five people were hit within a few hours in Metro Vancouver.
In one incident, a woman was hurt when she was struck by a taxi while crossing the street in East Vancouver.
Four other pedestrians were injured by crashes in Surrey, New Westminster, Coquitlam and Maple Ridge.
