Worker crushed at Vancouver concrete site

A worker has died after being crushed by a load of gravel in South Vancouver.

Emergency crews were called to the Lafarge Canada concrete site on Kent Avenue Tuesday morning to respond to the workplace incident. It’s not known what kind of work the victim was doing when he was buried in the gravel.

WorkSafe BC has sent several investigators to the site to determine what happened.
