A woman's body has been found by the side of a road in a rural area of Abbotsford.
Constable Ian MacDonald says a passerby made the discovery this morning on Riverside Road near King Road.
He says the death appears suspicious.
However, it's too soon to say if it's a homicide and Abbotsford Police will be consulting with the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team to determine who takes charge of the investigation.
