Vancouver police are investigating after an apparent shooting on Nanaimo Street near Charles Street on Friday afternoon.
Witnesses reported shots fired at approximately 4 p.m. outside a hair salon. When officers arrived on scene, both the suspect and victim had fled.
Police were able to gather evidence to confirm that shots had been fired, but they said they’re not able to confirm if the intended victim was struck in the shooting.
Someone had clearly been bleeding at the scene. Blood could be seen on the sidewalk outside the salon and on the door handle.
Police said the shooting appears to have stemmed from a fight between two men.
