A Surrey highway was closed for several hours last night following a firey crash involving a semi tractor-trailer and a pickup truck.
Mounties say both drivers were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after the loaded semi hit a truck as it made a left turn onto 88th Ave.
Police say the trailer careened into the ditch and caught fire, while the pickup was pushed back through the intersection.
RCMP are looking for witnesses to the crash, which happened around 8:30 p.m.
