Surrey Mounties are searching for a suspect following a stabbing that put two men in hospital early Wednesday morning.

Officers were called to King George Boulevard near 132nd Street around 12:30 a.m. and found the victims, who said they’d been in a fight with a third man.

One victim had a visible stab wound on his leg. The other told police he wasn’t hurt, but paramedics examined him and discovered he was also stabbed in the side.

Both were taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Mounties are searching suspect described as a younger man with a dark complexion, about six feet tall, who was wearing a dark shirt and jeans.
