Ready... Set... RUN UP for DOWN SYNDROME!

Last June, we celebrated 20 amazing years of Run Up for Down Syndrome with a history-making, record-breaking day. Now, we are ready to step into the future, and build on our first $100,000 Run. Be part of the excitement as an estimated crowd of 1,000 gathers on June 4 at Simon Fraser University to run, walk or stroll in celebration of individuals with Down syndrome and all they contribute to our community. Along with the traditional 5 km or 1.5 km walk or run, participants will enjoy a variety of fun family activities such as face painting, a bouncy castle, games, mascots, scrumptious food, and so much more. Runners will also have a chance to win incredible prizes, including a classroom pizza party courtesy of Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria! Run Up for Down Syndrome is hosted by the Down Syndrome Research Foundation. In the weeks leading up to the event, participants collect donations from friends and family, using a customized personal fundraising webpage. Last year, approximately $108,000 (net) was raised for DSRF’s research and educational programs... and we're just getting started! More info:
