In an age where most people are posting pictures to Facebook walls and Instagram, it’s comforting to see Vancouverites taking the time to post actual pictures on a real wall in Yaletown.
The cheeky “Post No Bills” wall located outside Mini Yaletown has gone viral since photos of famous Bills, including Bill Clinton and Bill Cosby, started appearing.
The wall, which Twitter users are calling “public art,” has grown exponentially in the last week, with more and more Bills appearing every day.
Even Vancouver Canucks center Ryan Kesler is a fan of the wall. He tweeted a picture of it saying,“Walking around yaletown and saw this. #enjoy."
So far there are photos of Bill Gates, William Shakespeare, William Shatner, Will Smith, Bill Nye the Science Guy, a duck bill, a U.S. one dollar bill, Billy Bob Thornton, Bill Simmons, the Buffalo Bills and more.
Bills originally started showing up on a Post No Bills wall in Kitsilano, and a Post No Pauls spinoff wall has shown up on another downtown wall.
