The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is on scene at a property in Hope, B.C., for what appears to be a double homicide.
Two men were found dead at a residence on the 69100-block of Othello Road early Sunday morning, according to police. The scene is located nearby the Coquihalla highway in a heavily fenced compound. The two victims have not yet been identified.
“This investigation is in the very early stages, therefore, we have minimal details to provide at this time,” said Sgt. Jennifer Pound in a statement. “Our priority right now is to identify the victims and notify their families.”
IHIT and the Upper Fraser Valley RCMP are investigating the scene for further information. Police are asking anyone with information to call IHIT at 1-877-551-4448, or 1-800-222-8477 to give an anonymous tip.
