Virginia Greene has led thousands of women in a public battle against breast cancer in the annual Run for the Cure, and now she's fighting for her life in her own battle against ovarian cancer.

"You could have knocked me over with a feather when they said, ‘You've got stage-three ovarian cancer.' I was not expecting that," Greene says.

The prominent entrepreneur, who is about to step down from her role as president of the B.C. Business Council, has now undergone 13 months of chemotherapy and major surgery in her fight against the disease.

Greene sat down with CTV British Columbia's Pamela Martin for an in-depth interview about her latest challenge, and how her formidable leadership skills and the support of her family have helped through the frightening diagnosis.
