Mounties in Kelowna are investigating the suspicious death of a 27-year-old woman overnight.
RCMP found the young woman dead inside a home in the 300-block of Yates Road shortly after midnight during a call to assist paramedics.
Some neighbours told CTV News they heard what they believed to be a single gunshot earlier in the night.
It is believed the residence was home to a couple with young children.
Kelowna RCMP are treating the death as suspicious and its Serious Crime Unit is investigating.
