Mounties confirm they are investigating reports of shots fired at the Ikea store in Richmond, B.C., but no injuries have been reported.

Cpl. Sherrdean Turley issued a statement Tuesday confirming police received multiple calls about gunfire in the parking lot of the Swedish furniture store at around 4:30 p.m.

“Suspects fled prior to police arrival and the reasons this incident occurred are not yet known,” Turley wrote.

Mounties have been scouring the scene, located in the 3300-block of Jacombs Road, but it does not appear that anyone was hurt. There also was no property damage.

No other details have been confirmed.
