A drug trafficker who tossed 20-dollar bills and marijuana from a downtown Victoria rooftop is facing more drug charges.
Constable Mike Russell says a passerby handed over more than $1,300 he'd collected, but that was only a third of the money that was raining down from the roof.
Russell says others made off with the loot and the pot that a 33-year-old man admitted to throwing overboard, although he didn't have an explanation for his odd behaviour.
Police searched a suite and found an additional $2,500 in cash and about $5,000 worth of marijuana belonging to the man who will be in court on July 28th.
