A 23-year-old man has died after falling down a cliff in Stanley Park early Sunday morning.
Vancouver Police say the man was attending a rave in a secluded area above Siwash Rock along Merilees Trail, when he fell at about 4:20am.
Emergency crews arrived and the man was declared dead at the scene.
A witness told CTV News there were up to 200 people at the party.
Police say at this stage, the death appears to be accidental, and they will be working with the Coroners Service to determine if drugs or alcohol may have been factors.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or the events leading up to it, and has not yet spoken with police, is asked to contact the Vancouver Police Department.
