A 35-year-old man with no fixed address has been arrested and charged in connection with a recent series of assaults on Surrey sex trade workers.

Three women have been attacked since mid-September, and Mounties fear there could be more potential victims they don’t know about.

On Wednesday, the RCMP released a photo of the alleged attacker, James Henry Reddemann, in hopes of prompting more women to come forward.

A slew of charges have been approved against Reddemann, including sexual assault, sexual assault with a weapon, two counts of assault, two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, and three counts of attempting to choke to overcome resistance.

He’s being held in custody pending an appearance in Surrey provincial court on Nov. 5.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the Surrey RCMP detachment at 604-599-0502 or, if they wish to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
