Mounties confirm a 12-year-old girl who went missing Thursday morning at the University Endowment Lands has been found safe.
The child disappeared from the area of Norma Rose Point School, near the University of British Columbia campus, and wasn't seen again until after dark.
Her disappearance was particularly troubling given the cold weather and snowy forecast.
The RCMP confirmed she was found before 7 p.m. but did not say where she was located.
