Halloween is just around the corner, and whether you’re doling out candy this year or bringing it home, you may be tempted to over-indulge.

But if you know what 100 calories of your favourite sweet looks like, it can help you control your consumption while still getting a taste of the treats.

First up is Hershey’s Kisses. Those foil wrapped milk chocolates are a calorie counter's favourite – less than 25 calories each. 4.5 of them come to 100 calories.

Snack sized KitKats have two little crispy bars. To reach 100 calories you’ll have about a package and a half.

Another crunchy chocolate bar is Twix. It’s popular all year round, but at Halloween they’re stubby. The good news? You get to eat two.

If you want some peanut butter to go with your chocolate, a single Reese’s peanut butter cup is 110 calories to be exact, so leave a little behind, if you can.

If sour is your thing, fruity Skittles might fit the bill. You can eat 25 little Skittles to total 100 calories.

Do you love chewy Original Starbursts? You get five tries to figure out your favourite flavor and reach 100 calories.

And Brach’s candy corn lovers will be happy to heard that to reach 100 calories you have 13.6 candy kernels.

Happy Halloween!
