A young B.C. mother missing for more than two weeks has been found on Vancouver Island, police say.
Merritt resident Brandy Deann Cowell, 32, was travelling with her new boyfriend Robert Bishop when they disappeared. She called her family from a pay phone on Sept. 1 to say she'd be home in time for her son's first day of school, but didn't reappear.
RCMP say that Cowell and Bishop were located Thursday in the Oceanside area of Vancouver Island.
Police are now questioning the pair.
Bishop, 34, has a criminal record in Kamloops, and police have described him as a person of interest in the disappearance.
