A new cosmetic procedure craze happening in Vancouver is helping people to reverse the signs of aging -- in under an hour.

The “Lunch-Hour Facelift” promises to give clients a “very nice rejuvenated look” without any surgery, says Dr. Martin Braun, who’s seeing a lot of women signing up for the service.

“We have technology we can use in a very cost-effective manor very quickly and very safely,” he said.

The treatment includes Botox, fillers, laser treatment and specialized makeup, and experts say it’s safer than surgical procedures.

Braun says lots of people are doing it – even though they may not readily admit it.

“The problem is with the public, they only see the bad results they see the freaks that are out there. That's unfortunate for our business, that they don't know how safe and how natural this can be done,” he said.

Recently retired mother-of-four Carol Krawchuk allowed CTV News camera to follow her as she underwent the procedure.

The 59-year-old said she decided to get a little help after having a startling realization when she looked in the mirror recently.

“I didn't recognize myself. I was like, ‘who is that old woman?’ You know, you can't help what gravity is going to do,” she said.

Krawchuk had several tiny Botox injections around her eyes, followed by injections in her face, near the cheek, to add volume. More fillers were added around her mouth, as well as a laser treatment. Finally, the treatment ends with oxygen-infused makeup designed to heal and conceal.

A week after treatment, the effects are visible.

“You do feel a difference in your face,” Krawchuk said. “Ten years younger in no time at all.”

Her procedure cost $2,000, with a recommendation to return in six months to get some of it re-done.

Braun charges $300 to $400 for laser procedures, and Botox runs from $400 to $600. Fillers can cost up to $2,500
