A man’s body was discovered in a Chilliwack home early Thursday morning, and homicide investigators are calling the circumstances suspicious.
The deceased was reported to Mounties at a property in the 46700-block of First Avenue shortly after 4 a.m.
Few details have been confirmed but the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team was called to take conduct of the case.
“Our investigators are working with members of the Chilliwack RCMP and will examine the scene in an attempt to determine what took place,” Sgt. Bari Emam said in a statement.
“Many details surrounding this death are not known at this time.”
The age and identity of the victim have not been released.
