Vancouver police are searching for an ex-con considered armed and dangerous after a downtown pot shop was robbed.

Police said The Green Room, a marijuana dispensary on Seymour Street, was targeted the night of June 1 by two men who came inside and pulled out weapons.

They allegedly robbed the store then fled on foot.

One suspect was nabbed three days later but another, a man identified by police as 32-year-old Eric Joseph Chartrand, remains on the loose.

He’s now wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for robbery and disguise with intent to commit a criminal offence.

Police said Chartrand has a long criminal record, and they have warned the public to keep a safe distance.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
