CTV Vancouver has been honoured with four of the world’s most prestigious awards for journalism.
The Radio Television Digital News Association announced this morning in Washington, DC, that CTV Vancouver is the recipient of multiple Edward R. Murrow awards, a prize named after the legendary journalist and broadcasting pioneer.
The awards are in the RTDNA’s International category, which accepts submissions from newsrooms around the world. CTV Vancouver is the winner for Overall Excellence, a category that judges a wide range of content produced by a newsroom, including investigations, breaking news, website, feature stories and on-air presentation.
CTV Vancouver also wins in the Investigative category for the work we did exposing the abuse of cattle in Chilliwack at Canada’s largest dairy farm. We’re also the winners for best Sports Reporting and Best Videography.
