Salvation ArmySalvation Army’s Christmas Kettle Campaign

The Salvation Army's annual Christmas Kettle Campaign is aimed at raising money and awareness about the continued need for social service programs to support vulnerable individuals throughout Canada.

For more than 120 years, the Kettles have been, and continue to be, an important way to raise funds to support the community and social service work of The Salvation Army in our communities. 86 cents of every dollar donated to The Salvation Army is used directly in charitable activities – exceeding the Canada Revenue Agency guideline of 65 percent donation efficiency.

It’s messed up! Bring the family back to the York for some upside-down holiday cheer and watch as we dress up some of Vancouver’s favourite performers in fairy tale finery and set them loose on this fantastic East Vancouver tradition.

Recommended for a general audience. As an advisory to adults who might bring young people, The Cultch recommends Cinderella: An East Van Panto for ages 5 and up.
