SALMON ARM, B.C. - Almost four years after the body of 22-year-old Tyler Myers was found on the grounds of a Salmon Arm, B.C., elementary school, arrests have been made into his murder.

A 20-year-old male and 21-year-old female have been charged with first-degree murder.

Myers died of a gunshot wound on the school ground of Bastion Elementary on Nov. 21, 2008.

While the murder was investigated at the time, RCMP say the Unsolved Homicide Unit advanced the case to the point where they were able arrest the suspects in Salmon Arm and Vernon on Monday.
