Mounties are searching for a pair of suspects after a car ploughed into a home in Surrey overnight.

It happened on 78th Avenue at 122-A Street around midnight.

Police say a young driver and passenger fled the scene and haven't been caught.

The people living in the home heard a speeding car just before the crash.

"It was like blast noise, it was like an explosion in the house and my whole room was shaken," said Shihav Banglawala, who lives in the home." The guy who was driving the car, they just run out of the car and run out the front door of the house".

A child that normally sleeps in the room where the car landed is out of town, meaning no one was in the room at the time of the crash.

No injuries were reported.
