CTV News gives you an exclusive look at the lives of incoming News at Six anchors Mike Killeen and Tamara Taggart.

The pair will take over the anchor desk next month, and to prepare, they've been visiting every part of the CTV British Columbia newsroom and talking about the big stories of the day.

"If we're talking about it a lot, people are probably talking about it a lot as well," Killeen said.

Taggart says she's invigorated by her new role.

"To tell stories about our community, where we live, and be a part of that every day, in people's living rooms, is a huge responsibility -- one that I'm ready for," she said.

The new anchors will begin hosting CTV News at Six on Jan. 3.
