A B.C. man is facing sex charges for allegedly molesting a girl inside a licensed daycare in his Maple Ridge home.
Edgar Hernandez, 48, is charged with sexual interference and sex assault for the incidents at Dragonfly Daycare on Creekside Street. The manager of the daycare is listed online as Flavia Hernandez.
Police are releasing few details of the allegations against Hernandez, but say they involve inappropriate touching that happened years ago.
Hernandez has been released from custody on bail and the RCMP investigation is ongoing. The conditions of his release include not having contact with the alleged victim and staying away from schools, daycares and parks.
