The Vancouver chef accused of installing a hidden camera in his high-end eatery to secretly film people while they used the bathroom has pleaded guilty.

Two Chefs and a Table co-owner Allan Bosomworth pleaded guilty in court Tuesday to a charge of unlawfully observing or recording a person where they could reasonably be expected to be nude.

Bosomworth was charged with the offense nearly a year ago after staff found a USB-key-sized camera at the East Vancouver restaurant.

Crown said the offense took place between Dec. 14-18, 2012. Police have previously said they could only identify one victim in the footage due to the poor video quality.

Bosomworth will next appear in court for sentencing on Dec. 10.

The charge carries a maximum sentence of five years in jail.
