Alleged child sex offender Jamieson Richard Glendinning, 60, was arrested Friday at the Vancouver International Airport after being deported from Australia.

In June, a warrant was issued for Glendinning’s arrest after he failed to attend a court appearance. Glendinning was located in Sydney and arrested in October, according to police.

Glendinning, who worked with the Tsawwassen Amateur Baseball Association from 1985 to 1995, was escorted back to Vancouver by Australian authorities and turned over to police.

Glendinning now faces charges of indecent assault, gross indecency, sexual assault, failing to attend court and breach of recognizance.

Delta Police first received information about the suspect in December 2009 and said his victims include both male and female children in the elementary to high school age range.
