Kelcey Brade
Kelcey is a graduate of BCIT's Broadcast Journalism program in 2008. He began his broadcasting career as a radio news anchor with Newcap Radio (CFXW-FM) in Whitecourt, Alberta, before returning to Vancouver in the spring of 2008 to work with CTV British Columbia.
Prior to attending BCIT, he earned a Communications Degree from Trinity Western University in Langley. While at TWU he founded, what is now called SpartansTV, the host web broadcast network for TWU Athletics.
From 2008-2011, Kelcey worked as a sports producer for CTV News weeknights at six and as an online sports reporter for ctvbc.ca.
During the 2010 Winter Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, he worked extensively as a producer on the local newscast.
Kelcey made his television debut as CTV Sportscaster in December 2008.
In addition to his work with CTV British Columbia, he can often be seen at Vancouver Canucks and BC Lions home practices and home games working for TSN as a field producer.
Kelcey has nearly 10 years of sports play-by-play experience having called more than 300 sporting events at the university/college level, including three CIS championship tournaments.
Kelcey and his wife Sarah resides in Ladner with their two children, Milo and Rooney.
