1. Stuck overnight: A woman who became separated from her husband on a North Shore hike Sunday was expected to be air lifted to safety Monday morning after rescuers were able to reach her. The woman’s phone died sometime after she became stranded. North Shore Rescue has been dealing with a record number of rescues in the area.

2. Single-zone fare: TransLink is moving to a single-zone fare system for buses today. That means, starting today, bus and HandyDART riders will pay for one zone no matter how far they travel. People using Compass Cards or Compass Tickets still have to tap-in on the bus, but will no longer have to tap-out when leaving.

3. Rabbit pose: For a city that protested a yoga event on the Burrard Street Bridge, citizens still seem to be committed to finding odd ways to find inner peace. The Small Animal Rescue Society of British Columbia has started a yoga class with rabbits. Ten rescue rabbits mill around a yoga room showing off their cuteness. The class has been a hit, with the first two classes sold out.

4. Second date plans? A young couple had an embarrassing end to their first date over the weekend after search-and-rescue crews were called in to save them on Grouse Mountain. The couple were apparently looking for a lake, although search crews were unsure which lake they were thinking of. No word on how they plan to top this date.

5. Monsters beware: A B.C. dad has discovered a new form of monster fighting to help his daughter sleep safe and sound. The “monster spray” is made of a mix of water and lavender, stamped with specific directions and warning about the possible side effect of drowsiness or dizziness.
