1. Reward offered: A couple from Langley is offering a $10,000 reward for information on a hit-and-run that left a groom-to-be with a brain injury. Michael Bennett, 29, was walking with friends in Kamloops when a truck veered onto the shoulder of a road and hit him.

2. Not covering up: A Kelowna woman says a Mountie threatened to fine her for going topless in public as it violated a city ordinance. The odd part: Kelowna city officials say that isn’t true at all. A B.C. Supreme Court ruling actually secured women’s right to go topless in the province 15 years ago.

3. Mom speaks out: A mother-of-four whose children were turned over to their sexually abusive father despite repeated pleas to the provincial government is speaking out. The mother says government staff instead questioned her mental health before she won a lawsuit last week.

4. Recognize these men? Vancouver police have released new images highlighting distinctive tattoos on one man accused of taking part in a home invasion. Police say two men pulled a gun on a seven-year-old girl during the altercation on June 17.

5. Hot dogs: Three dogs have been seized by animal control after being left in a sweltering car in a Victoria mall parking lot. The owner said she left ice water for the pups but police said no water was found – and temperatures reached higher than 50 degrees inside the car.
