Five people have been arrested after a fight on a party bus in downtown Vancouver Friday night.

Around midnight, police responded to an assault report at Alberni and Thurlow Streets. Upon arriving at the scene officers were told a suspect in the assault had boarded a party bus.

Police found the bus nearby, and as they attempted to identify the suspect other passengers began to fight with the police.

Four people were arrested for breach of the peace, and one woman was arrested for assaulting an officer.

No injuries were reported.

This is not the first party bus incident this year. In early January, 23-year-old Chelsea Lynn Mist James of Langley was killed when she fell out a party bus as it turned a corner and was struck.
